6-pack-external motors not moving #68

I’ve got the new 6 pack with external drivers. I have everything wired and programmed but motors are not turning. I am using dm542 drivers

You have asimilar setup as mine, but will need a lot more information.

  1. are you sure you have the motors wired correctly, check the pairs, tie them together, if there is no resistance to manual rotation, they are wired wrong.
  2. Which 6 pack do you have, there are 2, one with modules, one just for external drivers. (not sure if this makes a difference, I have the one with the modules for external drivers, not the one that has those built in, but cannot hurt to know, not sure if the pinouts are the same)
  3. Post your configuration file
  4. What other modules do you have (for example I have the two 4 input, 0-10v spindle driver)

These would be a good place to start.
