Let me first say that I am only ripping DVDs I own. I am not in the boat of
piracy. I am simply ripping my own DVDs to my external hard drive as a backup.
Since some wonderful "friends" of mine decided to "borrow" DVDs and not give
them back from time to time.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Not sure
2.
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to be able to watch a standard rip .MKV file (my settings are 60%
quality at 500MB a movie). When I go to start certain movies in Movist, they
will play at a fast-forward speed, but the audio is right on for most of it. It
does skip from time to time. So far I have ripped 11 DVDs and two of them have
come out like this. When I play them in VLC however, they play just fine, audio
and video are synced and working perfectly.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest, 0.6.8.
Mac OSX 10.6.4 Snow Leopard
Please provide any additional information below.
Like I said, this doesn't happen on every rip. From time to time it happens. I
check each rip after it's done. I am using the latest version of Handbrake to
rip DVDs.
