Description

This task involves releasing the Mobility V1.0 application, which has been thoroughly tested in both staging and development environments, into the production environment. The release includes updates to the Rider, Driver, and Strapi plugin components. Additionally, this release will address and fix all identified edge case issues.

Goals

Successfully deploy Mobility V1.0 to production, ensuring all features are stable, and all edge cases are handled appropriately. The production release should be seamless with minimal disruption to users.

Expected Outcome

Mobility V1.0 is successfully deployed to production.
The Rider, Driver, and Strapi plugin components are fully functional.
All identified edge cases are resolved.
No major issues are reported post-release.

Acceptance Criteria

[ ] Mobility V1.0 is deployed to production.
[ ] All components (Rider, Driver, Strapi plugin) function correctly in production.
[ ] All identified edge case issues are fixed and verified.
[ ] No critical bugs are reported in the first 48 hours post-release.
[ ] A rollback plan is documented and ready in case of any critical failure.
[ ] Production monitoring and logging are set up to track the performance of the release.

@emmayank - Are we going to track the below demo review comment/enhancements in https://github.com/beckn/beckn-utilities/issues/138 along with edge cases testing. Please let know.

Enhancements

Enable the current location icon (to check the parameter while passing of Google maps) Display BPPs information along with driver details under the profile section. Evaluate and simulate driver and rider movement in both the driver and rider apps. Evaluate unsolicited messages sent from drivers to riders and showcase them.

FYR please find the MoM points below.

Enhancements

Enable the current location icon (to check the parameter while passing of Google maps) Display BPPs information along with driver details under the profile section. Evaluate and simulate driver and rider movement in both the driver and rider apps. Evaluate unsolicited messages sent from drivers to riders and showcase them.

To Do - Testing

Test multiple vehicles for the same and two different BPPs.
Add a new instance on the staging environment: a. Same BPP: Test with 2 driver cabs from same BPP. b. Different BPPs: Test with 2 different BPPs who have 2 driver cabs each (total 4 cabs visible in search).

Release Notes

Add release notes to the respective repositories: a. Strapi repo: For Strapi plugin-related work. b. UI workspace: For all UI building blocks covered as part of the mobility migration.

@emmayank - Please find below the current week status and next week plan.

Current week status - A demo on Smart City and Smart Gambia was completed with Faiz. Based on the demo review comments, the development team is working on enhancement points and testing a few edge cases.

Next week plan - Planning to close enhancement points and complete edge case testing by the end of the current iteration.

@emmayank - As discussed in today's sync-up call, in this iteration, we will focus on edge case testing, issue fixes, and production release. The enhancement points listed below will be addressed in the next iteration.
