Incorporate MailChimp Form on Site

Our current approach for mailing list signups is not great:

• Only accessible via a linked image on the home page.
• The image is very small, and it's not readily apparent that it's a link.
• The link points to a separate domain, but opens in the same tab/window.
• The link points to a landing page & form that contains a text field labelled "Member of Merritt Island Lodge No. 353 F&AM YES/NO" -- The form submits no matter what is entered in this field (ex: YES, NO, MAYBE, [blank], etc).

Ideally this should be replaced by an inline form that gathers the same info as the current form, but with a checkbox field in place of the "YES/NO" text field that we have now, and the form should not submit if unchecked, but return an error message stating that only members can sign up.

I reached out to Br Crosser on 7/16, via an email address I got from WM Estes and am awaiting a response.

While my proposal would be an improvement in terms of UX and would certainly make it easier for members to sign up to our mailing list, it could also present the issue of increased non-member signups. Ultimately, it's not a hill I'm willing to die on, so we shall see what happens.
