Planting crops is impossible within a DoI dimention

I can't tell if this is a design decision or a bug:

I can hoe the dirt to make it into farmland, but no items will plant.

Expected behavior would be to right click a potato into a crop block and it would plant into seedlings.

Instead, only a hand gesture happens, like when you right click in mid air. If you hold the right click, the player will eat the item if its edible.

Is this expected behavior? I was looking forward to bringing my farm with me!

you need light the Infinity Dimension appears to always have max brightness, but it seems to just be a simulated light level, the actual light level is still normal and crops require a certain level to be planted
