Suggestion: Sync favorites across clients #13

Hey there!

This is merely a suggestion, as I don't know whether and how it could be done but I couldn't find an issue here or a discussion about this on the forum so I'll just leave it here: I'd like to have my list of favorites synced along with my notes so I've got the same favorites on any client that has the plugin installed. I felt this was a very obvious feature tbh and was wondering why nobody seemed to have mentioned it so far. Or maybe they have and I missed that. Anyhow, maybe you can consider putting the faves in a note that is just synced along? Or something like this.

In fact, I can't find anything in the forum on this topic either. Looks like it's not that urgent or important to users so far. You are welcome to advertise this ticket in the forum, if it gets a few votes, I am willing to consider something.

for my usage, the pluggin would be perfect if it has some sync capacities !

It's an enhancement request for this plugin, i think? but we should also post in the general joplin forum?

Please consider this! My use case involves numerous profiles AND numerous devices with WebDAV synchronization and encryption the primary requirements. My expectation for this plugin therefore was any favorite data added and/or changed on one device would sychronize, along with any note data (of course), to all of my devices. For me, having to input the same favorites more than once and/or needing to manage them per device is simply a non-starter. I would utilize the plugin if it had this feature/capability.

Hi,

The ability to synchronize would really be a plus for me too. In the meantime, is it possible to manually export and then import favorites on another device?
