cannot get parser to show any info #1

i have windows 8 and net4.5 I have the plugin menu with star I run ffxiv and the ffxiv app as admin ive enabled all chat logs in the battle chat I have the ffxiv 3.0. I had the same issue with ffxiv 2.0

all my friends say they simple open the ffxiv app and it shows them as (you) under the parser plugin.

I have yet to see this .

ive tried almost everything .. many hours of research read all the forum posts...etc.

this repeats over and over
