hyphenated words in transcriptions displayed wrong #1090

Example page for this issue:

https://fromthepage.com/shperdueva/margaret-bayard-smith-digital-edition/who-is-happy--continued--by-mbs--lady-s-book--april--1839-1345-/display/53377

In the transcription: During her convalescence, she, like all chil- dren, was wayward and fretful.

In the preview: During her convalescence, she, like all chil dren, was wayward and fretful. With what -- this should keep the hyphen

In the read work view "During her convalescence, she, like all chil dren" -- This should remove the hyphen, but shouldn't have the space like is shown

I'm getting reports that in our v20.2 install hyphens at the end of lines are invisible in the 'read' view. Should I open a new issue for it?

This may be another documentation issue. Both rows of equals and line-terminating hyphens have specific meaning in FromThePage. Lists of equals indicate headers, while line-termiating hyphens indicate a "soft-break", which should not break the word in line-insensitive contexts like word-wrap or search-optimized plaintext export.

These are both documented here: https://content.fromthepage.com/project-owner-documentation/advanced-mark-up/

If there is a better place to surface the advanced mark-up instructions within the application, we should probably do so.
