A frozen token is designed for crypto traders parking their funds without volatility. Freezing your crypto temporary parks and protects your funds against volatility by providing you a frozen token.

Currently, stablecoins and wrapped tokens store value (for example USDT or WETH) and their stability is based on market powers fixing the price back through arbitration. Investors utilize these tokens to escape market volatility (shorting / parking) and for DeFi. Frozen tokens are based on unique smart contracts that eliminate volatility, freezing the value against market factors. 6) infinitywallet has started work.

Blockchain technology to eliminate the core challenge of trust in the insurance claims industry. Hence came the requirement of design and development of a version of dApp (decentralized app) taking 4 parties into account - Customer Hospital Insurance provider Bank

Binance Smart chain is the core technology for building the platform. Through this platform, both the customer's cashless and reimbursement claims will be processed automatically. All parties are coming together.

In the long conventional method of claiming insurance, there are multiple processes involved. All the parties mentioned above coordinate to retrieve data/records. The process of digging up these dates and coordinating with information flow back and forth gets very confusing, unorganized, and tedious.

After the development of this new platform, signature-based certificates get attached to every document and the process gets automated via Smart Contracts, helping users complete their insurance claims in approx 9) francocoin1701 has started work.

Do you want to swap 10 BUSD for BNB? Sure thing, we'll just need your approval to spend a BAJILLION DOLLARS!

Do you ever feel uneasy about the different dapps that you gave approval to spend BEP2 tokens from your account? revoke.cash allows you to inspect all the contracts you've approved to spend money on your behalf, and revoke their access for the ones you no longer need. If you don't want to completely revoke access, it's also possible to update the amount they are allowed to spend instead.

Revoke.cash was initially an Ethereum only app, but for this hackathon I added full support for BSC to the app. I also expanded the dapp-contract-list to include popular BSC apps such as Venus and PancakeSwap. This list allows developers to convert non-intuitive addresses to human readable app names (e.g. PancakeSwap). 23) aggreyeric has started work.

Tokenchop is a DeFi solution that splits any BEP20 token (e.g. WBNB) into two new BEP20 tokens with different risk-return profiles based on a pair (e.g. WBNB/BUSD).

The two new tokens are fund pools, one Stable and the other Speculative. The Spec pool takes all the gains and losses for both pools. Users can deposit or withdraw their original tokens at any time by minting or burning the corresponding token. A token of the stable pool is effectively a synthetic stable coin with a fixed value relative to the quote (eg. BUSD). This value is protected by the Speculative pool funds. A token of the Speculative pool is a synthetic margin account with leverage as it gets all the gains and losses for the funds across the contracts.

By letting users simply set a reference source through oracle contracts to any contracts they wish, users can create completely arbitrary assets for any targeted assets they want. They can create synths which use med price from 5 oracles to produce say Synthetic BTC or average price from 4 sources to create a basket currency from USD, GBP, Euro, CNY to hedge monetary policy risk.

All the Synths By allowing users to simply provide 3 to 7 oracle sources, the contract will take the market value from the oracle set, using a safety param that allows for .33 to .45 failure and fault tolerance and use that along with a collateralization rate set at 1.2x, the system can mint any asset aslong as that asset has a price source. Using projects such as Link or any signed values by exchanges the user can deposit BNB as collateral and mint the synthetic asset on demand. This contract can then be used by others to mint the same synth or choose another Synthesizer with different oracle sources allowing for market competition between Synthesizers competing for the most reliable synth for the asset. You can use this model to make synthetic currencies, commodities or synthesize weather, aslong as it has a value which can be tracked you can Conjure it. 35) tomafc330 has started work.

I have Music Business/Entertainment experience as a producer, artist, and entrepreneur since I was 17. Product based on agile contract law and smartcontract allowing to creat legal NFTs.

Linking physical goods to cryptographic token needs law. It is not possible to securely bind a physical good to a NFT without law and smartcontract.

Linking digital good to cryptographic token needs law. It is not possible to securely bind a digital good to a NFT without law and smartcontract. For instance, when a NFT's digital art is sold, nothing prevent anyone to copy and past the digital art and have the same enjoyment than the one who bought it. The only value buying Digital art's NFT is the notoriety of being said the owner of this art.

Why doing this ?

NFTs needs to step forward. We thing that NFTs can bring law to web3. Not only notoriety will be able to be transfered through NFT but ownership, right of use, licence agreement, copyright and so.

We want to bring law to WEB3. Linking law security to cryptographic technology to protect WEB3 activities.

Why law and WEB 3 ?

Law is not just a matter of state. Law is the tool of a community. WEB3 community needs it to increase his power.

How the tokenart soup works :

Tokenart use agile contract law to make it easier to create right a secure contract law through a simple questionnary like in this example : https://en.soleauchain.com/creersonnft

Then it uses smartcontract to creat the NFT's and add contract law in metadatas.

Mixe this elements and gets a physical goods totally linked to a NFTs like this artist shows on its instagram : https://www.instagram.com/p/CJOwOzUD8Lx/?igshid=1khdigkaf6moa&fbclid=IwAR2LMDDX5sZJe4_iTnNMtSbLbsKtue1-XeAwH4t_fR8DMerqKGGoLyZIT5o

For exemple, this artist already sell a physical NFT art to a buyer. The NFT transfer involves the artwork's ownership transfer too. The artist engage to ensure the delivery at the expanse of the buyer (In this exemple, the delivery was through the french postal system). Once received, the buyer can choose either to keep it at home and conserve the NFT as a proof of authenticity of his physical artwork either to sell it again through the same process.

For exemple2, Tokenizing rights on goods make it possible to digital creators like softwares, musics, pictures, design, logo to sell or rent their right easier.

Lets take the example of a musician who realise a good song. Three cryptocreators would like to add his song to their project. Instead of creating a contract between him and them they could just buy the NFT allowing them to use it.

Why we need you ?

Today we have only one automated agile and smartcontract law working on ethereum : https://en.soleauchain.com/creersonnft

This is good because through a simple questionnary you can have directly in your wallet a NFT legally linked to your physical creation. But this is not enough !

Tomorrow we want to make business creation easier than never. We want to increase rapidity and security on the WEB3 through law and code.

Your help will help us to enhance our protocole in order to make it possible more smartcontract law for the following use cases :

Being able to build smartcontract on other blockchain Tokenizing any type of right (For instance : Jewelry or Watch Physical ownership / RIght of use for musician / Right of use for source code etc.)

Tokenart partenered with the legaltech Soleauchain and Clément Fontaine PhD candidate on cryptolaw : http://clement-fontaine-chercheur.mystrikingly.com

Let's bring the law to web3 in an efficient way. Thank you. 55) moose-code has started work.

why we create Merklestarter ? recently we are trying to join some IDO on Polkastarter, and got angry. The site is too slow, no way to join only 300 people in whitelist. Going deeper in contract interaction, it shows very limited function because each time we can only add 100 people to receiver list. Furthermore, user must send 2 transaction to get token, swap and claim, which cost gas too much. Merklestarter will let funder easier to raise fund, once for thousand people, and user only need to claim by sending only 1 transaction. 60) pscrypt has started work.

Neverlose.money is a gamified DeFi protocol on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) that pays a bonus to long-term investors, known as HODLers, using the penalty charge paid by users who fail to HODL.

A user can lock-up his/her crypto for a set duration (from 3 months to 10 years). By continuing the lock-up, he/she will get bonuses whenever other users fail to HODL, but will also get charged a 10% penalty + a 3% treasury charge if the user withdraws the fund within the lock-up period (the penalty is distributed to others as bonuses).

We have tested the market needs for this protocol via the Ethereum network, and over 2.3 million USD worth of crypto assets were locked in the smart contract within a month. However, we have been considering to move to the Binance Smart Chain due to the expensive transaction fees on Ethereum. So, we’re excited to join this Binance Hackathon so that we can build the BSC-backed HODL protocol that enables users to lock-up their ETH, BTCB, and WBNB (and more token pools will be launched soon). We strongly believe that this protocol can promote more long-term investment in the Binance ecosystem. 72) joker00099 has started work.

In 2020, the DeFi market experienced remarkable quantitative and qualitative growth in TVL and transaction volumes on the Ethereum network. At the same time, everyday investors experience difficulties due to the rising transaction costs that have accompanied the exponential increase of DeFi. And the high transaction fees on the Ethereum network have also become a barrier to smart contract development projects and small, early-stage DeFi projects.

At Team Bunny, we have focused on developing and launching a Yield Farming Dapp on BSC, and our experience on BSC has been extremely valuable for a number of important reasons:

  1. BSC development environment is identical to that of the ETH network;
  2. Transaction fees are inexpensive; and
  3. We can deliver higher yields/returns to liquidity providers on BSC vs. the ETH network. (Thank you PancakeSwap!)

However, despite its many advantages, BSC still suffers from comparatively low accessibility vs. ETH for a couple of reasons:

  1. Moving assets from ETH chain to BSC chain is highly burdensome; and
  2. BSC network setting must be done manually on wallets such as Metamask

That’s why Team Bunny is proud to announce a new crosschain farming solution that enables ETH users to farm liquidity yields directly on BSC. 88) gasolin has started work.

Apollo Saber is a DeFi NO-LOSS tournament virtual reality game running on Binance Smart Chain. The game is similar to the famous virtual reality rhythm game Beatsaber, where the player has to slice blocks representing musical beats with a pair of contrasting-color sabers.

… except that rather than being a simple single player game, the users are entering into worldwide weekly tournament against other “saber beaters”

To enter the tournament, the players have to stake BUSD. This is then deposited into a liquidity running on Binance Smart Chain (e.g. CREAM finance) to earn interest. At the end of the tournament, the players can withdraw their reward and the winner gets all the interest earned from the pooled BUSD.

For every day the competition runs a generative piece of art is generated based on the user’s movements using the virtual reality joysticks.

To implement this VR game, we used TrustWallet and implemented the WalletConnect protocol allowing users to approve the BUSD transactions simply using TrustWallet. 91) bscdapps has started work.

[Overview] Our project contributes to the content industry by converting various content formats (movies, music, photographs, documents) into NFT tokens.
Until now, the blockchain industry has been represented by financial services. However, in the real economy, content services are also important. To date, content services using NFT tokens have been stored on or linked to other chain networks, making it difficult to assess their actual value. Therefore, we have created a technology that can easily make content usable in the blockchain network. We also want to make changes to the NFT by tokenizing the actual content, not simply storing or exchanging FT or NFT tokens.

[Challenges ]

We have set six challenges for the revolution of the new blockchain content industry.

  1. Distribution of data issued per each NFT token
2. Data re-decode per each NFT token

  2. Purchase an NFT token by exchanging it with an FT token
4. NFT token pricing and fundraising using liquidity pool
5. Streaming pool to which NFT token content can be streamed
6. NFT token streaming service that be spent on Netflix content

[Future ]

The technology we provide will provide the following benefits in the future.

  1. Expansion of the blockchain content industry

  2. Transparent content value calculation through NFT tokens

  3. Expansion of the fund-raising market for content development

  4. Consumer management systems of content platforms

  5. Profit diversification through NFT token liquidity
6. Providing a variety of payment services 96) artistic709 has started work.

Blockchain-insuretech-demo project has been made to eliminate present flaws in the isurance industry. We have clearly demonstrated the difference between client server model and present ethereum binance chain based blockchain model. This kind of architecture is well suited for an organization that does not need to interact with other organizations. However, when an organization needs to interact with other organization for data or processing, then this architecture leads to the following issues: Data Inconsistency Lack of data integrity Single Point of failure

Blockchain, also known as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), is powered by Peer-To-Peer architecture. This architecture, fits in for the ecosystems where every organization relies heavily on the other organizations for the data or processing.

Shared Ledger All the organizations within a blockchain network holds a complete copy of the data that is shared within the ecosystem. Consistency of this data is guaranteed by the consensus algorithms. This solves data inconsistency issues. Since these networks are designed peer-to-peer, there is no single point of failure. Thus, if any hacker wants to manipulate the network, he/she will have to hack each and every peer of the network which is computational intensive. 99) beehive-oeth has started work.

SemiotNet works with a set of two supply side dynamics – expansion and contraction. If the price of the coin rises, automatically more coins are issue to increase the supply and reduce the price. The same goes for price reduction wherein supply is contracted digitally to increase the price back to equilibrium. The user always holds the same percentage of Stablecoins from the universe throughout such expansion and contraction phases, hence protecting the user from a significant amount of market risk.

as far as I can see from YouTube stats, my demo video has not been watched yet. I am guessing, they had more submissions than expected and are still reviewing them.

grishick commented 3 years ago

I take that back. I see that winners have been paid already, which begs the question if the judges even reviewed all submissions.

It's very strange all first submissions to enter were payed out if you check gitcoin.

My contracted hasn't even been interacted with so how could it possible have been judged yet?

@Az111z @Hephyrius @lc66 @grishick @COURTNEYZANG @bscdapps @masquel we all need to send an email to binance and others within the binance team as i smell something fishy going on here nearly half of the winners didnt even hit the requirements to enter and some how won, most projects that done some big things totally ignored while clones and none working projects win

how can this project win 2nd place if it does not meet these 2 requirements and also it took about 1 hour to make and is not even deployed on bsc LOL

https://github.com/confbot/bscwhalealert

All submissions must be open source and deployed live on the BSC test net or main net (Main net if seeking gas credit) All submissions must list the addresses of their contracts on BSC

Crytogenz commented 3 years ago

i have looked at nearly all the projects and there is at least 3-4 projects that stand really really really out from the crowd and not one of them won so the criteria for this must of been lets pick at random

will be taking this to binance and cz as its ridicules the amount of time everyone spends on their projects to get screwed by someone that cant actually review things or even care.

Hello~ I understand and respect your concerns but I'd like to point out that there is nothing in the submission guide or in the hackathon rule that says that the project must start during the hackathon.

I wouldn't have submitted swipswap if I had seen a rule like that.

Here are the Submission Requirements:

All submissions must be open source and deployed live on the BSC test net or main net (Main net if seeking gas credit)

All submissions must list the addresses of their contracts on BSC

The application must be USEFUL and INTERESTING

If there is wide appeal for the application, it will score better

A demo video must be submitted for a complete submission

Yeah, that is fair enough but most projects didnt even meet the requirements and there is some serious innovative projects that didnt clone and were within the requirements and made from nothing some really good projects that were not even in any of the winners lists.

It clearly points to someone has picked at random with some really top projects been ignored that i have seen, no reviewing any videos, picking projects that dont meet requirements and allowing clones with ui change to win over others.

That's a good point and I was not trying to poo-poo your particular project. Since they didn't say you had to actually work on the project during the hackathon, you did not break the rules by submitting prior work even if there was no work done within the hackathon's context. Good for you for snatching the opportunity! Whether this was ethical is a different point entirely. It is also obvious that this discussion is purely about ethics, since there is no way the results will change. IMHO the hackathon rules were ill-defined and the hackathon was mismanaged. If Gitcoin and Binance care about their reputation, they should make a public statement about this.

Oh, I am pretty sure the results aren't going to be changed. The best we can hope for is a public apology. I am pessimistic too though, so I doubt we'll get anything more than "We've reviewed everyone we wanted to review. We didn't watch demos or check code of those, who didn't seem interesting to us. Good luck wasting your time with us next time."

And yeah some of the projects that won where still good but I think we can all agree that the hackathon was not even judged and they distrubuted the prizes randomly which is very unfair..

Maybe I will reuse the idea in a future hackathon organized by someone else. I have learned a lot from the project and the knowledge is my reward. If Binance dares to make another hackathon or a bounty in the future, I won't participate but I will certainly comment in the feed of the action for other devs to be warned.

Do we know anything about the $100 BSC gas credits the winners should have received?
