test_plot_distribution fails with older versions of gnuplot #25

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run bp_test
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

OK expected.
FAIL happens if gnuplot is Version 4.2.

The difference is that the OLD version of gnuplot correctly handles y-axis 
labels in dumb terminal, while the new versions of gnuplot dont.
