You could set subsribsion price, but game detected your MMO as singlegame + multiplayer still, isn't?
main profit from MMO (after month payments) - paid updates. But paid updates in CGS more suitable for single games, this is not profitable for MMO as IRL.
MMO games have big ingame store (check World of Warcraft as the best example)
the same about popularity as F2P. MMO games have more stable online than CGS can offer

update - I don't know (and don't ask and don't want to know :D) mechanics of this game, so this case could be wrong, but I guess it could be based on F2P typical player spent about ~1-3 years in high rated game, more with regular updates. After this period new generation joined for F2P game and this is linked with market share.
Concerning MMO there are more difficult unfortunatelly. Loyal customers play longer despite no new updates are coming.
