expansion icon should only appear with those classes that are expandable

The presence of the expansion icon on a term in a taxonomy indicates that it should have children, but in many cases, it does not. It is annoying to click to expand only to discover that there are no children ... i might suggest that you check whether there is at least one child before putting the expansion icon in the tree.
