Can't create new gif files. #360

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a new document.
2. File, Save As.
3. Type a filename ending in gif (that doesn't already exist in the folder)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is saving the file. Instead, I see "Error saving file: Cannot
open (insert filename here)"

It does save in the gif format if a file with the filename in question already
exists.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ASEPRITE Version-0.9.6-beta3 on Windows Vista 32 bit

*Please provide any additional information below. If the program crashed on
Windows, you can attach the aseprite-memory.dmp file generated in the same
location where aseprite.exe is.*

Fixed. Commit:
https://github.com/aseprite/aseprite/commit/1b86d613bfdc011fab8d1cc23c9caf5279c2

Note: I've added the possibility to remove read-only attribute from the UI if
it's necessary.
