Palette only displays 31 colors, rest are black regardless of color mode #395

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open ASE (which will also show only 31 colors)
2. Create new document
3. Pick any color mode and create 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A full palette

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
RC1 Win7 32bit ultimate

*Please provide any additional information below. If the program crashed on
Windows, you can attach the aseprite-memory.dmp file generated in the same
location where aseprite.exe is.*

Do you mean that you cannot change/use the other colors? I think that the issue 
here is that the new default palette used by Aseprite contains 32 colors only.

Maybe I should consider a new default color palette with 256 colors to avoid 
confusion.

Yes I am able to change colors using the editor. It would be nice if 256 was an 
option under available palettes as there's certainly room for more.

Another idea: I came across an earlier version (trailer on project home) that 
has larger color icons in the palette area - would it be possible to use the 
large icon mode for when the number of colors in a palette does not exceed the 
space required? So for 256 the colors would display as before taking up the 
entire palette space and at the same time a 32 color palette would also fill up 
the space but with larger icons?
