Configurable Path for the wbfs folder #94

Hi

I m using the Wireless Media Stick from HSTI.com
The Wii detects the stick as fat32 1tb device in several homebrew i can use the
stick perfectly

My wish is to use it also in cfgloader
therefore i need a little piece of code added, allowing me to change the base
path where the loader looks for the wbfs folder

the stick uses PC-Name\Share-Name as structure when plugged into the Wii(or any
other usb device)

So instead of getting usb:/wbfs i get usb:/MyPCname/wbfs (share is named wbfs)

With implementing this little change, I would be able to use the stick, can
share wbfs files directly from my pc to any wii i like to use (we have 3 in
house)
so i never need to carry anylonger a hdd incl powercord through the rooms

hopefully this little change can get implemented soon

I would also like this option for the exact same reason. This would make it
possible to have the storage be on the network, and even in "the cloud" using
this device. Very helpful for houses with multiple Wiis and a solid existing
NAS. Only wish that the Media Stick also allowed for write access as well, so
ripping would be easier.

This seems to be pretty straight-forward code change. I'm gonna download the
source myself and play, but I'd like to see someone who understands it better
take a swing at this.

I would like to be able to switch between such directories, right now I have
\wbfs.adult\ and \wbfs.kids\ switched to \wbfs\ each time me or kids are
playing.

OK, got it to work with the HSTI Stick
Gamelist is available over Wifi from my PC-Share
Starting Game works until the Controller Screen, you hear the Beep...nothing
happens after that, I assume connection to slow/timeout issues

Not to resurrect an old thread, but I've just tried this as well with the same
results. I see the games, and launching works, but it will crash fairly early
on. A few games make it to an interactive area, but most freeze at the
controller screen. Not sure if this is a latency/bandwidth issue, a caching
problem, or something inherent to the media stick. I'll play around with a few
things, and see if I get different results.
