One issue noted above: "I think there should be a SolveParam established for SolutionPoolCapacityMultiplier so the user can easily set this parameter, with a suitable documented default. yes?" Can we quickly add this, and then I can merge?

@blubin, the changes we discussed are done and pushed. Can you have a last look and approve / merge this MR if you approve it?
