This PR does many different things, most importantly it ..

adds support for digest, namely sha256 & sha512 (default is still sha384)
replaces openssl & CLI command with native hash function (part of core since 7.4, see here)
makes manifest.json work when source files were renamed (fixes #37)
adds some more typehints/docblock comments
brings some minor refactors
adds some tests (mainly for manifest.json stuff)
