Hi, thank you for highlighting this issue out.
Tag should not have been found and exception should be thrown. Instead of generating an empty statistics
Our team feels that generating an empty statistics is analagous to saying that there is no tests that are done for any question containing that tag, which is true when you use the stats
command on a tag that does not exist. This behaviour is also meant to replicate that of the find
command, where if you find
a tag that does not exist, no flashcards are shown instead of an error being thrown.
In addition, we will be rejecting this issue because it is a suggestion and downgrading the severity to VeryLow
as it does seem like much of a feature flaw based on the excerpt below:

I understand where you are coming from but as a user, showing this feels like there is actually a flashcard with the respective tags that have yet to be answered. It is also not mentioned inside the UG.
