BMI088 on Teensy 4.0 #8

I wired the bmi088 to my teensy board, but im getting a -1 (ID) error code for both acceleration and gyro.

When can this fail?

I didnt explicitly soder the sdo pin to gnd. Maybe thats why- No I grounded sdo and I still get the same error
