I had this same issue. If you click the three dots by the volume slider and select properties; make sure the active window is what you want. For example; I have to reset the Discord window to the correct one each time I stream.
Same issue, does not work anymore. Even when I select the correct window with the 3 dots, I get no sound.
Check that your sound channels are set to "stereo" in OBS settings. For my experience this plugin can't capture multichannels. Also check that you don't accidentaly use OBS's native BETA version of the source (there reads "BETA" in the source options, while plugin doesn't have BETA marking"). OBS's own capture for some reason uses the executables definition name instead of the exe's name and that sometimes prevents the capturing with it.
So, I installed an old version and the new one, but neither of them wants to work in OBS. I set up the separate windows, but it doesn't capture ANY sound, it just stays still and without sound.
