I want to do live view using just the local file on the desktop, but it says I need to have http:// in the beginning, well, now I am confused...

found it out, I was using a php file,

will you eventually include php in this editor?

It's working with PHP, you just have to insert the path to the file. Check out this video: http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/tools-and-tips/a-peek-at-brackets/
