DONE:

• homepage: adapted the color palette for day mode (disabled the switch to night mode, see next bullet point)
• config/_default: disabled the switch between day & night mode (only one option combining a lighter & darker (green) color palette)
• adapted the homepage images (as the their red color/contours didn't fit the current (green) color palette anymore)
• hero image: included brain.png as a background image (if inserted next to text, less nice layout for smaller screens)
• inserted a team widget (for each team member create a /global2020/content/authors/FirstName-Surname folder (example: Sofie-VanDenBossche) & adapt _index.md accordingly)

  if you don't want the social icons to show, set show_social = true to false in global2020/content/home/team.md

• some editorial changes (correcting some typos & coding), e.g. extra space after checkbox (Projects tab)

TO DO (minor):

• homepage:
  • [ ] when smaller screen, bug with parallax of the images;
  • [ ] Twitter icon = black instead of "Twitter blue";
  • [ ] option: insert a Twitter button @brainhackorg
• navbar: highlight bug (see previous message this week)
• events page:
  • [ ] rm donostia-copy folder in global2020/content/events (& create a template folder?);
  • [ ] bug: marker-icon-2x.png not found (cf. icon on map);
  • [ ] change color (blue/red when hover) of left "card" border (event next to map); change color palette (atm purple) of form (if possible, in which Drive folder is the form?)

TO DO (major):

• homepage - team: grab images from GitHub
• projects page:
  • [ ] bug --> clicking the checkboxes = no functionality (no filtering);
  • [ ] wrt to your TODO comments: priority (but already functional without it) would be: 1) adding an option to select multiple filters at once, 2) ordering the filters, 3) filtering out irrelevant labels

@sofievdbos :100: @SamGuay I think we should merge this (I trust it builds) and fix issues at a later time, since otherwise it is difficult to know what is left to do (I was going to fix an issue with the homepage and saw this PR). Maybe next PRs will have a smaller scope and will be faster/easier to merge.
