When a player dies, instead of dropping their items, they spawn a grave block at their death point. This grave can be broken to retrieve all of the items.
A grave shouldn't be a traditional inventory so they can't be interfaced with using hoppers.
If a player other than the one who died breaks a grave, a zombie with the killed player's head and a scythe will spawn.
Graves are a form of storage, right?
