new myq code issues #145

I have installed all the codes in smartthings (no sensor) and cannot get my virtual buttons to open or close the garage doors. I have set up the routines with the virtual buttons pointing to the smartthings app and visa versa trying all combinations. how do i get this new app/code to open and close my two garage doors? I have both door 1 and door 2 controllers and 4 open and close buttons showing up in my smartthings phone app but cant get them to work..can you help? Thanks Buck

Can you refresh to the latest code and try again? I just made a change to the virtual switches.

Just updated smart app and virtual buttons...doors still will not open or close?

Anything in the logs? If you check the virtual switches in the IDE, can you confirm they are showing as the MyQ Action Switch type?

You may also try opening the SmartApp and tapping through the config steps again.

All action switches point to my q light and are set to type myq action switch

You updated the no-sensor door handler, too, right? It's a little odd you're seeing those icons and an Unknown state.

Anything in the IDE live logging when you try and toggle them or when you try and control using the actual door device? With the latest SmartApp and Handler code, you should see something more like this:

no logging events with myq even when i manual open and close it from garage.

No - the code at the bottom of that handler should be 4.0.1

Can you tap through the SmartApp config and verify you see the confirmation message that the button subscriptions are recreated?

I've not seen that before. Have you tried a total uninstall/reinstall of the SmartApp? I know that stinks, but it may be a cleaner option.

From the MyQ Lite home screen, it does show that all versions are latest?

Just FYI....I can't even sign in through the MyQ app today, throws a SSL error at me, currently troubleshooting this.

Confirmed on the MyQ website Apple users are having trouble signing into the app…. Looks like they’re in the process of changing the authentication mechanism again
