35 use acorn as default index in oak #36

Closes #35.

This is now complete for index construction and adding of the initial vectors. (Tested only by observing that the appropriate logs seem to occur, and the cpp thread doesn't crash.)

Note that search is not yet implemented here. I've opened #38 for this.
