Add functions to export gene-gene and compound-compound annotations

We are aiming to distribute code reviews across the lab. The suggested reviewers for this PR are @afermg, @leoank and @eysu35. The only task to be performed is checking that you can download the annotations in an independent environment. Write below if anyone would like to perform the code review, otherwise we will select during check-in probably.

Yes, this is ready. This is the latest version we used to get the annotations set.
