What does Length mean in Qto_StairFlightBaseQuantities? #3

The description from the docs is:

Total length of the stair flight along the walking line.

Can someone draw a diagram of this for clarification? There are perhaps a few equally valid interpretations here.

Probably depends also on local standards and the context in which it is used (e.g escape routes, manufacturing). I'd say put this on hold. I don't think we have the resources and input now to advance on this.

+1 from my side (to put on hold) the walking line often depends on local building regulations, e.g. the distance of the walking line from the inner edge of the stair flight edge.
