Block menus have become unselectable on iPad

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Place variable item
2. Select drop down menu to change variable name
3. This option cannot be selected, it could last week. (19th March 2014)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output was an option to change e variable name.  The current 
output is nothing.  This is the same for all drop down menus.

What browser are you using?
Safari on iOS 7.1

Do I understand correctly that the menu opens properly, but none of the options 
can be selected?
