A change in the observer setup a few weeks ago knocked out the progress bar for the planning stage of the test director, and now the dashboard appears to freeze for large periods of time before starting runs. This is a fairly bad user experience, so we should probably find a way to report this.
This is a little difficult inasmuch as there aren't any obvious places on the dashboard for a progress bar to go, unless I squeeze one onto the system log (which isn't used anymore), or make the dashboard not show its main screen until after it's done planning.
