Steve: I want you to submit an abstract for a panel on DDoS mitigation for SCTE expo. It would be nice if we could work with some of your member contacts to do some papers to support that, as well. You and Chris Sibley could write something on DIS and how Cox is using it for abuse management. It would be nice if we could get Rich to submit a paper on how to address spoofing. Maybe Darshak could help him author that? If not, you. And if might be cool if we could get Armstrong and/or GCI to provide some insights on how a mid-tier operators’ DDoS mitigation approaches differ from larger operators.
Another option is to work with Akamai, Arbor, and/or Cloudflare on a paper for emerging technology to address DDoS.
