New tab button messes up in latest Nightly once tabs enter overflow

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Download the latest Nightly
2.Install Stratiform 3.0b1
3.Open enough tabs to enter overflow mode

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
See attached screenshot.

PS: Even after the tabs are closed, the tab button does not revert to normal. 
The only way is to restart the browser.
