Do you get any errors in the console? an emulog.txt from after the crash would
be cool

Sadly no, which is the odd part, I never get any errors showing up in the
console when this happens, it just glitches out or flat out crashes.

Ok, this time I did manage to get errors in the console, I kept a closery eye
on the console this time and spotted them. Sadly the log refreshed so it
didn't show in the latest text file for it, but I caught screens of the error
in the console itself for you.
I got this one when doing a true(low health/red health) musou, the game froze
during the startup of that action cutscene thing that played, then resumed and
continued the attack normally, but the environment textures were all greyed out:

This one is the crashing bug one, I got this the same way, did a true(low
health/red health) musou, the game froze up during that action cutscene thing
before the move starts, and then the emulator crashed. Thankfully I caught the
error message in the console, it's at the very bottom so you can see it:

Hope that helps.

can you try and reproduce the error after patching the pcsx2 executable with
large address aware.

i play alot of dw sw games, and sw2empires worked just fine for me with
revision 5712 with (at the time newly released beta drivers) 13.8. i always
loathed the crash in sw2empires when the "cutscene" musou attack happened. but
yeah, i've used that same musou attack probably dozens of times in the same
battle and in many battles (including different maps etc) and it never crashed
including the team musou, full musou, low life team musou. i guess to some it
up i tested the game fairly thoroughly with this build and the beta drivers and
it work great. uh.. standard settings for most games, if i remember correctly i
always used vu speedhack +1 because my computer was slow. clamping chop/zero
and none. no cheats or fixes. only mtvu added to speedhacks. it ran with 1 by 1
skip\draw or by default, with directx or ogl. hell i even ran vlc with music
and\or firefox (with or without youtube). i had waited tryingout different
revisions and settings for that game many a'time. i hope this helps.
btw i ran it using the svn build exe and release candidate build (in folder). can't remember if i used linuz's loader (which i always did) or the built in. probably tried both. also, it ran under both native and custom res.

To danial:
Yes, even after trying the game after patching with large address aware that
issue still occurred. Having tried the newest emulator, the problem seems much
rarer, but still happens occasionally, it took a lot more tried to get it to
happen. Figured I'd let you guys know.
