Please test these images with PCSX2 r4010, I'm pretty sure (but not certain)
that it will resolve this issue. If you need a build of r4010, I'll post one
here for you as an attachment.

Wouldn't r4010 affect only ISOs and not the disc plugins tho?

This problem only occurs when I try to play the game on DVD DL or emulating the
image with other programs such as Alcohol 120%, Daemon tools, etc. When I use
the image of the game, in the system emulator, not in plugins, works perfect. I
tested this with the games God of War 2 and Gran Turismo 4, especially the God
of War 2, that when I play the DVD DL, it does not load the saved games and no
play after than half of the game and Gran Turismo 4, is simply not work, it
freezes in the copyright, at the beginning. In PS2, work perfect.

Still does not work in DVD DL in r4010. Hope you can fix this, to me this
emulator is pretty good, just missing this issue seriously, cause the rest
should be just finetune. Thanks.

So the issue described here is restricted to the CDVD plugins.
artur-bc:
Which plugins did you test? Please try Peops and CDVDgigaherz.

I have tested in CDVDgigaherz and CDVDolio, both does not work DVD DL. Peops
does not work in Windows 7.

Ok, changing title and status, and going to merge other DVD9/DL issues relating
to direct from-DVD use of the emulator. This is actually a known problem; dual
layer discs have never worked well except from ripped iso image.

Would be possible to create a way of reading that was independent of Windows
and looks like the PS2, because for example, the emulator Dolphin, Wii games on
the PC recognizes it as empty, but he can read, then you could do something
similar in PCSX2 to perform better with games straight from the DVD, yes or no?

-cdvdolio, boots but when hit new game, it gets stuck showing a black screen
with a minimap, no intro.
-Using gigahertz's i get this in the console:
