When I use 1PL (change 'Item Parameters Number' to 1), as soon as I execute the test, it says 'Execution halted'.

For 1PL, you still need to configure your CAT settings to use 4 parameters. Your 3rd and 4th parameters will always have value 0 and 1 respectively.
