I am not sure if the search method used on the site can be put on a separate page as here: https://www.algolia.com/doc/tutorials/search-ui/instant-search/build-an-instant-search-results-page/instantsearchjs/

A separate page would seem a bit more straightforward than pushing down the content.

Do you mean a specific search page and no instant search on other pages ?

captaincoffee commented 6 years ago

Is it one OR the other? If it is more complicated, don't worry about it.

OK, we have a stable first try. I was struggling trying to make the search experience more fluid. It can certainly be improved. @captaincoffee, let me know what you think about this : https://p218.netlify.com/

This looks as if it is working correctly. What improvements are you thinking of?

What are your thoughts on exposing the Search Form in the NavBar? We may have room on most screen sizes. It would save a few clicks and make the feature more prominent.

If possible I would like to keep the Algolia branding off the menu. On the modal and results it would be fine.
