E-Mail notification and Branding Logo does not work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I upload a Branding logo and it does not appear at all.
  Not in the Admin Branding Option, neither at the Client log in.
2. I´m also unable to get the E-Mail notification working.
   I use smtp and did all changes like from my Provider told.
   Is it possible to get an error log?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Windows Server 2012 R2 with IIS 8

Are there going to be updates for Projectsend?
I really hope so.
Because it´s great Project. Really like projectsend. I hope you keep going 
with this good work!!! :)

Update: I got the Branding Logo working.
I had to delete the index.html in the timthumb Directory.
After that timthumb generated a new one.

But I´m still having Problems with the email notification.
I set up everything correctly (tried it with another Software) for smtp, but 
Projectsend does not send any mails.

Can anyone help me out here?

Your email server must be configured properly to allow sending from SMTP or no 
emails will generate, even though the ProjectSend page says they were.

My email Server is configured corretly. I already tested it with another 
Project sending over smtp. Thats why I´m a Little bit confused. Could it be 
possible that the phpmailer is not runnign correctly?
