Part 1: calculate average and this year estimate emergence of invasive insects in the northeast; they have Python scripts to calculate these raster products, just need updated variables; they might do this Part 2: publish 2 papers, one data publication (they have some experience with) and publication on trends across time and space; made it clear that they would need to lead the research pub; latter can be done in R if we want Work wouldn’t start until spring (April / May) or summer, they need to gather more stakeholder info Page 9 of CASC proposal
