Newly downloaded the install MSI. Decided to play WOTLK, fails at connecting to the MySQL server

Should I install a MySQL server manually? or is it packed into it, but I need to start it?

It should have started when you selected expansion in launcher. Usually it can't start if you have non latin characters in path to server

May i suggest an update to the script, option for MySQL install - in case something goes awry? for easier error handling

Repack already has a portable mysql. If you want to install your own you need to install the database manually as well.
