renaming app on home screen doesn't stay saved

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I long press and let go on Retro Camera
2. I rename it to Retro (because it cuts off some of camera) and it will stay 
that way until...
3. When I reboot my phone any time after that it will say retro Camera
4. I've tried this with others as well and I get the same problem.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected: to stay at "Retro"
what i see: "Retro Camera" after reboot

What version of the product are you using? On what phone? What Android
version?
ADWLauncher 1.3.3 System
CyanogenMod 6.1 Stable dInc

I'm having the same issue with both ADW and ADW EX one year after this issue 
was filed.

Currently, I'm experiencing the problem with ADW EX 1.3.3.56 on CM7.1 
RevNumbers Nightly, but I've experienced it a long as the option to edit labels 
had been available.

For what it's worth, I've been trying to edit labels for the same reason as the 
person who filed the issue (with Google Reader, Droid VNC server, and Google TV 
Remote in the place of his Retro Camera).
