Could you clarify the license for this code? I'm hoping it will be some FOSS license, but I don't find any copyright or license statements in the code or docs.

Thank you for your interest! This library hasn't been formally released yet for usage outside the group, and currently acks components such as proper documentation & a license. Nevertheless, it can be used as is. I will try to get an answer to the licensing question asap.
