Is there any way that we can configure this, so when we recover a deleted folder or partition, we can get the exact file names and file paths as they were before the deletion?

As state in the documentation, use TestDisk instead of PhotoRec if you want to recover the original filenames. TestDisk's undelete feature is available for FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, exFAT, NTFS and ext2 filesystems.

Thank you @cgsecurity Does TestDisk recover full file folder path, and how?

cgsecurity commented 2 years ago

TestDisk, Advanced, Undelete... When the information is available, TestDisk gets the full pathname.

Make sure that you check a data recovery software with non-file signature scanning support https://www.pandorarecovery.com/best-recovery-apps.html. There is no harm if you will try couple of different recovery apps and see which one works the best for you. Please leave us some feedback as well.
