Faced the same problem, somewhere I read that you can’t use cloud updates, only through iTunes and using the ipsw update file

I have used an ipsw to update the iPhone with iTunes but it still doesn’t want to go in DFU mode.

如果你使用的是新款mac pro 并且你的mac 只有type-c 接口那么请使用type-hub 转接盛usb type-a 然后用老款usb3.0数据线链接你的iphone 据说是因为链接故障问，

Home button doesn't work after i use checkra1n

Can't enter DFU mode with my iPhone SE either. I reset the phone with the ipsw downloaded from https://ipsw.me before.
