Ripping Honky Chateau and Tumbleweed Connection hangs PS3 #48

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempting to rip Elton John Honky Chateau or Tumbleweed Connection to ISO.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
PS3 hangs at the screen where disc contents are displayed upon pressing "X" for
OK. OK is greyed out, but it does not move to ripping screen.

Eject works. Controller and PS3 power buttons do not. Removing AC from PS3
and rebooting is required.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
.36 Ripper, not using network mode.

Please provide any additional information below.
Before reporting, I successfully ripped an SACD. (I have ripped others with
.36.) Reverting to .30 ripper version I was able to rip Honky Chateau.

Another member at Computer Audiophile posted this problem causing me to try it.

I had identical symptoms 3 times with "Time Out" from The Dave Burbeck Quartet.
 I did not try 0.30.

I went to do try it one last time to see if I had a log I could submit and for
whatever random reason, it successfully ripped this time. I am submitting the
successful log in case it helps.

I cannot reproduce any of these type of reports. I'm suspecting the 0.36
binaries that are being distributed are build wrong (maybe the developer forgot
"make clean"). Please ask someone else to build a new binary for you.

the 0.36 binaries are indeed build wrong.
