Title doesn't bear any relevance in Accessibility, so I've changed these to ALT attributes. If you want a "tooltip" when a mouse hovers, then use title attribute on the A element.

I can't replicate your site, because it's just the theme, no database and no URL in the project!

But I'd love to be able to help contribute more with your Accessibility.

Hi, thanks for this! We've actually been addressing these issues in a different branch. I'm going to try to reorganize and bring those changes into the main branch soon, and I'll include that missing information in the README. I'll leave this open until then and see if the changes are similar. In the meantime, thank you for your interest and contribution!
