Package Update #76

It seems there are many imported functions from strataG for running fastsimcoal that have changed. Using R 3.6.3 and updated v2.4.905 of strataG, the skeleSim package fails to load in R. Are there plans to update skeleSim to make it compatible with the latest version of strataG?

I have started updating skelesim for the new version of strataG, but got pulled away for other work. I will try to get back to it next week with plans of having updates complete and a new version uploaded to CRAN by the end of April.

Hi Bill,

I just installed with devtools::install_github("christianparobek/skeleSim")

and was able to get the package to load, if you want to try that in the interim.

Also, Eric, let me know if I can help out (I can certainly handle the CRAN submission when needed)

Thanks Allan! Since I know the changes, it'll be easier for me to go through and make the update. I should have the time to get it done soon.

Bill, you can install old versions of strataG that work with the current version of skeleSim from here.

Thanks for the insight. I hadn't yet tried getting an older version of strataG, so may explore that in the interim. Thanks again for your replies and attention to this.
