I like the mana and health orbs in diablo 3, but maybe toned down more?
I think Ansalon was halfway there with the hearts that dropped off mobs occasionally. If hearts dropped slightly more often, and went into your inventory rather than the ground that might be exactly what I'm looking for.
I think there should be something that helps keep a leveling party going, but cant keep them going indefinitely.
A lot of games also do full restores on health/mana when you level, thats something to consider, or maybe like a half boost or something?
