Having same issue reported from original poster, accessing from Roku. Intermittently you get a verification code but it simply hangs.
Please advise.
No response from developer. Is this thread being monitored or is there another way to get support? Anyone...Bueller...Bueller..
@Jsalsy - I tested this thing for 30 minutes today and I was able to generate codes without any issues + authenticate in Google. Are you actually getting a code to enter on the TV screen? Or do you get this 500 error after waiting a while?
Thank you. The page would come up displaying the code momentarily, then the error would come up immediately following.however, after uninstalling / reinstalling the app a couple times, it worked and is now working well.Thank you On Friday, August 18, 2023 at 12:21:35 PM EDT, Chris Taylor @.***> wrote:

I have those same issues trying to link a 2nd Roku. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling without luck. If I get a code from the app and am able to submit the code on the website I will get a code 500 there too and am asked to email the webmaster which then bounces back.
So now both tvs at 2 different locations and roku devices are giving this "An Error Occurred in 'onNewToken'. Code:500- The requested URL returned error:500" This happens on the registration code page. I can't get a code or do anything else.
the website validation page also isn't working.
