Discussion: Same argument/reply posted multiple times #1170

In live, when posting a test argument, the 'Add argument' button seemed to be dead, so I clicked on it several times to try to get it to work. I then tried again, with another dummy argument, and same thing.

It seemed to be loading, and I think this was simply an internet issue from my side.

But a few seconds later, my arguments appeared as posted as duplicates (the first one twice, the second 3 three times), presumably because of my having clicked several times on the button?

I imagine this could be a quite common issues in countries with less quality internet (like the UK, unfortunately..).

Suggestion: Can it be fixed so that clicking on the button several times doesn't lead to it getting posted several times?

See this issue here where a similar thing happened for me previously.

@ssin1901 @ilmartyrk I just posted a reply in this topic and it posted twice.

In this case though, unlike the above I'm not aware of having clicked the button more than once:

I added it here so as not to duplicate issues, but if you think it should be treated separately then let's split it :)
