new install - visualisations not working windows 7 #2668

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. start clementine

  1. start music
  2. open visualisation What is the expected output? What do you see instead? expected visualization What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? windows 7 64 bit. Clementine 1.01, downloaded and installed today Please provide any additional information below. could be a problem with the qt toolkit. Via chipset (Graphics chip) used by laptop is known to have problems with linux. However, I can dual boot on the same machine into linux and the visualisation works fine. Had the same unfunctional visualisation issue with clementine 0.7. This time though, when black screen of visualisation is cleared, a number of unexpected results occur from a black screen about filling about the lower 10% of the windows background to losing some of the window chrome from subsequently openeded windows (the minimise buttton and maximise button go black and the window shadow turns completely black). Thanks

Almost certainly due to crappy VIA drivers.
