This plugin is addressing two big use cases: (1) Migrating between Cloud Foundry API endpoints (2) updating a DB in one org based on a DB in another (for example, a staging DB based on a production DB). The latter is actually a pretty common request, and I think the namecg-export-db undersells it, since there's plenty of importing being done too! I suggest cg-migrate-db as a name that more accurately conveys the value.
